Those looking for property in Australia should look to the country's west, an expert has advised.
Ben Briggs, brand manager at Austravel, has highlighted the fact that while luxury is not always something associated with the country, it actually offers top-end accommodation and excursions.
He explained: "Western Australia is Australia's best kept secret and therefore relatively undiscovered compared to the east coast."
Some of its key features include the area's stunning locations, space and silence, which he praised as being fantastic.
Mr Briggs added: "Western Australia is full of extraordinary landscapes and unique experiences."
Attractions in the area include the Ningaloo Reef, Margaret River, the area's wine and Broome's Cable Beach. The quietness of the area and the ability to drive for hours without seeing another person is another fantastic draw, he claimed.
Recent figures published by STR Global found that the area is becoming increasingly popular among tourists, with an occupancy rise of 8.4 per cent year-on-year in June.
