The creation of a new airport in Brazil is set to boost overseas property investment in the country, according to experts.
Independent analysts at Amberlamb stated that the opening of a new portal in 2010 would significantly improve accessibility to areas such as Natal and Rio Grande do Norte.
Rhiannon Williamson, director of the organisation, predicted that the region would soon become the most popular part of the country with foreign property buyers as a result.
She commented: "There is massive untapped potential across the nation but it is the north-east of the country that's getting the most attention."
Ms Williamson added that the region would prove to be highly appealing to foreign property buyers because of its improving accessibility and its desirability as a holiday location.
Furthermore, she stated that the government was interested in encouraging real estate investment and tourism in the area.
This comes after Liam Bailey of Knight Frank predicted that a surge in the number of foreign investors could trigger a period of "huge growth" in Brazil's property market.
