Those looking for the best beaches in Brazil will find the finest one in the north-east of the country to be Praia da Pipa near Natal, it has been stated.
Marketing manager at travel specialists Journey Latin America Laura Rendell-Dunn said this stretch of sand is "the first beach I'd recommend" in the region, adding that it is "very safe" for families, off the beaten track and offers wildlife attractions including pink dolphins.
Such features may be of interest to those thinking of investing in property in the Natal area of the country.
Other beaches she tipped as outstanding include Lopes Mendes, which is situated on the island of Ilha Grande near Rio, as well as the city's own famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.
Last month Natal was hailed as one of the two best places to buy property in Brazil by property inspection firm uv10.
