The Brazilian tourism institute has revealed that it aims to promote the diversity of the country to foreign consumers.
According to Embratur, the South American nation offers a lot more than beaches, such as history, culture and outdoor facilities, reports Property Wire.
Therefore, it plans to raise the profile of these various attractions by marketing them more heavily in other countries.
A spokesperson for Embratur commented: "Brazil is a hugely diverse land.
"We are stepping up our efforts to promote this wide variety of attractions to prospective visitors and investors worldwide."
He added that Brazil offers people the chance to enjoy outdoor activities such as caving, fishing and bird watching, along with world heritage cities including Olinda and Preto.
This could also stimulate growth in Brazil's housing market, a development which would be likely to attract the attention of overseas property investors.
Brazil was recently described by NuBricks.com as an "overseas property hotspot" which offers "untapped potential" to investors.
