The potential for those investing in Brazilian property to see good returns is significant, it has been argued.
According to Property Bond International, the country's economy is continuing to grow despite the global economic downturn.
Director of the company Clive Hawkes explained that Brazil has a young population, meaning 1.5 million homes are being sought each year.
And he added that the economy is set to be transformed once the recession comes to an end, as oil prices are likely to rise.
"There is a massive oil field off the coast of Rio which will bring great money into the country … it will be among the top ten producers in the world," said Mr Hawkes.
Last month a spokesperson for Brazil's embassy in the UK noted that the country is not expected to experience the same impact of the credit crunch as others around the world, making it a viable destination for investors.
