People who want to invest in a less conventional market have been advised to consider purchasing property in Brazil.
The South American country was highlighted by the Foreign Property Website as a location that offered strong investment potential.
Specifically, the website said that rising land prices were pushing up the value of property in many areas.
As a result, people who invest in the Brazilian property market could be possibly snap up a relative bargain and sell it for a greater amount at some point in the future.
This purchase could be even more lucrative in the property is located in area that is subject to high demand, such as a popular tourist resort.
Commenting on the market, Foreign Property Buyer said: "If you are looking for a slightly more exotic place to invest in property than mainland Europe, Brazil may be worth a look."
This comes after SaveBorrowSpend reported that in the last few years, property values in the country have gone up by 50 per cent.
