Brazil is attracting more and more attention from foreign property buyers, according to an industry expert.
Richard Way, editor of A Place in the Sun magazine, said the South American country is proving to be a very popular market with people from overseas.
This, he stated, is partly due to its lifestyle attraction, including its excellent climate, relaxed way of life and good quality beaches.
However, he added that a number of factors are also attracting the attention of people who are buying solely for investment purposes.
For example, Brazil was said to offer strong potential for capital growth in both the short and long term.
Mr Way commented: "Last year, Brazilian property prices rose between ten and 15 per cent."
Earlier this week, prospective buyers were advised to consider investing in Brazil by the BuyAssociation website.
According to the online portal, the country currently offers a number of "real bargains", as well as an "enviable lifestyle".
