Potential for investment in Brazil highlighted

A property advice service has claimed that Brazil is a country with "incredible potential" for investors.

Property Frontiers describes the South American nation as a market which "needs no introduction", as its strong economic credentials are already well-known in global investment circles.

The website notes that demand for property in Brazil has "never been higher" due to the country's growing middle-class population.

In addition, Brazil's stable banking system, rich supply of natural resources and trade links with Asian nations means the economy is well-equipped to withstand the economic downturn.

Earlier this month, US tycoon Sam Zell told a seminar in New York that he believes Brazil represents one of the best "environments" in the world for investors.

BBC Sports Personality of the Year Chris Hoy recently demonstrated the country's appeal in the UK by purchasing a holiday property in the coastal resort of Tabatinga.
