Property investors in the UK have been advised to purchase houses in largely untapped parts of Brazil.

Independent analysts at Amberlamb stated that a growing number of holidaymakers were flocking to coastal parts of the country.

However, it suggested that interest from foreign leisure travellers was likely to spread to other regions away from the sea.

As well as offering a more authentic view of the country, these areas were said to offer much cheaper property prices.

This means that when they are opened up to tourists, investors should be able to enjoy a high rate of capital appreciation and a surge in rental demand.

Amberlamb commented: "There are some locations that you can invest in where the future tourism demand will come from those seeking the 'real' Brazil."

This comes after SaveBorrowSpend reported that in the last few years, the value of property in Brazil have gone up by 50 per cent.
