A partnershipbetween nature and man's workhas turned this house into an uncommon place.

Located in the green area of a town 60km. from the sity of São Paulo (with access by the Pinheiros highway), this wonderful architectonic work mingles with the exuberant landscape and causes astonishment because of the abundance of details and care with which all its parts have been built.
Each detail and careful touch of the residence's owners, who are aware of the singularity of the building, gives evidence that they have not held back any efforts to make it a cozy and familiar place with all the modern conveniences.

Architecture

The innovative design, which was conceived by the architect José Wagner Garcia, uses basically two materials: steel and glass-a combination that resulted in an unusual building and which provides a repeating movement of the forms and allows a totally new vision in each room you walk into.

These all make this house different from everything you have seen so far in terms of construction.

The house is divided into three large blocks: bedrooms, living room and dining room, and a third block that is used by the kitchen.

You have a spectacular sight of the surrounding green landscape from everywhere you are in the house.

Inside the house

The inside of the house is totally equipped with an air-conditioning system with independent control for each room, bringing you comfort in every season

The glass walls play their roles as one of the premises of the project: to provide the maximum integration between the interior and the exterior of the house and allow the natural light to shine in, thus contributing to the creation of a different sight for each period of the day.

The living room and the dining room are very large and its floor is covered in ivory marble, which gives more luminosity to the rooms.

The kitchen, which is located at the far left of the house, is extremely practical, with access to the lower floor where the laundry, the maid's room, the pantry, the hoist connecting to the kitchen is found.

At the opposite end of the house, the intimate block, including four suites (one of them was remodeled by the owner to become a study) and the Home Theater.

The bathroom floor and cabinet tops of all the suites are covered in Carrara marble.

In the bathroom of the main suite there is a spectacular jetted bath completing the sophistication of the room.

There is a fitness room just above the suite with a panoramic view of the swimming pool and the exuberant landscape surrounding the residence.

Every door of the house has an Italian design and has been manufactured in solid Guatambu / Pau Marfim crafted wood, the very same material used in all the built in wardrobes.

The house roof is another detail not to be ignored: it has all been built of Spanish black shale.

Paysage

Living in a place in which the native scenery still can be found and which is just a few minutes of the city of São Paulo is a privilege of few and this has exactly been one of the owner's concerns: the preservation of the environment.

The diversity of species of different size, forms and textures reach their summit of magnificence in the spring, providing an explosion of a variety of colors and tones environed by an emerald-green grassy land surrounding the house in an extension of about two and a half hectares.

The garden does not require too much maintenance: only sporadically the hedge is pruned and the grass is mown, and nature itself takes on the duty to irrigate the field.

At night the garden provides a fantastic sight with the effects that are created by a set of lights shining over trees and boulevards along the property.

Technology

State-of-the-art technology is used throughout the house.

A power generator is switched on immediately after any blackout that might occur.

The house is equipped with four telephone lines and an internal extension system that allow the communication between the several rooms of the house in addition to a satellite antenna for Internet access and cable TV.

Cameras monitor every room and the security is performed through infrared-sensitive alarm points.

Exeption is made for the bedrooms which have outside cameras and infrared-sensitive alarm points.

Security

Aside from the fact that the house is located in a private site, far from the agitation and violence of the city, it has a modern security system including cameras interconnected to the Internet, which allow real-time, 24-hour monitoring of the main rooms and entrances.

The access to the house is blocked by two automatic gates also monitored by cameras and equipped with an idetification system, thus preventing strangers to get closer to the house.

During the night an alarm system equipped with infrared sensors interconnected with the local Police Station is capable of detecting a minimum movement outside andinside the house.

Leisure Area

The 6m-wide x 12m-long swimming pool is one of the most pleasurable points of the leisure area; as it is board-free it forms a spectacular water mirror with a very beautiful visual effect especially at night.

As the swimming pool is at a privileged point of the property, it can be seen from virtually every room of the house.

Such an area has a special illumination system and a surround sound outlet system with four speakers, which creates a pleasurable environment to welcome friends or even to enjoy alone.

By the swimming pool there is a barbecue site and just downstairs there are bathrooms equipped with steam sauna and both warm and cool showers.

A tennis court and the fitness room at the main suite integrate the leisure area.

The house and the swimming pool are built on two hectares on the upper point of the property Apart from all the conveniences of the main house, there are two other independent houses next to the tennis court, which can be used to accommodate guests.

There are also two additional ones for the use of the service staff.

All this is surrounded by the lavish tropical forest on the hills of the remaining seven hectares of the property.
