The parcel is located 20 km away from Sevlievo town, and 30 km from Gabrovo town. The distance to airport Sofia is 180 km, and to airport Bourgas is 270km. The beautiful nature of the Balkan Mountains is revealed through clear mountain streams and rivers, green meadows and forests as well as grand canyons and rocks, which are all presented in this region. The area offers wonderful opportunities for horse riding at some reserves situated in close proximity. Some of them are Boatin, Carichina, Kozia stena, Steneto, Stara reka, Peeshti skali, Sokolna and many more. The girls monastery Saint Trinity, located near the village, is placed on the shore of the Kalna River. The region is also famous for its ancient history. The Thracian people, who dwelled the area, have left over 150 mounds, which are now architectural treasures. The citadels in Skandolo and Velchevo village are also interesting for tourists. A few hotels, which are situated at the range of the national reserves, attract the tourists through fresh mountain air and glamorous panorama to the Balkan Mountains.
