Houses and churches from the National Revival period have been preserved and the fishermen’s neighborhood (Ribarskata mahala) in Tutrakan is the only architectural complex of this kind in Bulgaria.

Only 30km is the distance to the magnificent lake of Srebarna. Another dam in the neighbor village is even closer.
