The property is located in a lovely small town, lying only 20 km away from the beautiful regional town of Shumen, 200 m from the main road Shumen-Karnobat.
This is an old one-storey house, built of sun-dried bricks, located amidst greenery and beautiful nature, in immediate proximity to a forest. It offers three rooms and a cellar making an area of 80 sq. m. Electricity and water are available.
In the large yard measuring 1000 sq. m there is a draw-well and trellis-vines. One can enjoy a very beautiful panoramic view from the house.
With a population of about 4500 people, this small town is the perfect place both for rural holiday lovers and for those with more permanent dreams who would spend their life enjoying the peaceful rural life in traditionally Bulgarian rural town, with nearby lakes offering excellent opportunities for fishing, and picturesque countryside all around!
The archaeological finds in the area of the town show that there has been continuous inhabiting of the area for over a millennium. The excavation of a prehistoric man made hill in the area, found signs of human culture from 3500BC to 3100BC. Ten Thracians tombs dating from V - IV century BC, the Greek- Roman era, show how rich the area was. In the municipality there are many interesting villages, manmade hills and fortresses, which attract many tourists. Eco tourism and rural tourism are a priority and many such projects are underway. The town itself offers various shops, restaurants, a church, a school, a hospital.
The town of Shumen is a road and rail center with such industries as tobacco processing, canning and brewing, furniture making, and the manufacture of enamelware. Various crafts flourish, and agricultural activity is important. The local beer is widely acclaimed. Shumen has Thracian and subsequent Roman origins and was a fortress (founded 927) during the first Bulgarian empire.
Near to the town are situated the first two Bulgarian capitals – Pliska and Veliki Preslav, and the religious center Madara. UNESCO lists the Madara Horseman as a World Heritage Site.
