By means of additional drilling at some places the debit has reached 300 l/sec. The village has opened swimming pools with mineral water (in Olympic dimensions). This water is therapeutic to diseases of the skeleton-muscular kinetic system, diseases of the liver and of the gall-bladder, as well as neural and urology diseases. The village is situated at a distance of 160 km from the capital of Sofia and at 100 km to the border with Greece. At 4 km away from the wonderful winter resort of Bansko is located - with length of the racing tracks exceeding 70 km, equipped by modern ski-lifts. This is the fastest growing winter resort in East Europe. That is why it is not by accident that Bulgaria is the main candidate to the Winter Olympic Games in 2012. The region is extremely suitable for any type of tourism, alpine sports, extreme sports, and also hunting and fishing. What is more attractive - nearby there is wonderful golf course!
