The house is situated on the edge of a most picturesque village only 15 km away from the district centre of Razgrad. The village characterizes with beautiful nature, rocks and woodlands, as well as houses of the Bulgarian national revival, which preserve the spirit of those times. A place full of interest is the Ethnographic Complex, which is situated on an area of 0.4 ha and includes three restored Renaissance houses. They represent a typical Bulgarian mountain home of that time. There are displays in each house that represent old crafts. Local inhabitants have donated all exhibits. Important part of the complex is a restored windmill.
The house itself is very good looking. A small river runs through the yard and makes the property quite valuable. In addition, a beautiful view over the nearby forest reveals from the garden. The building offers 90 sq. m of livable area and comprises of an entrance-hall, a living room, 4 bedrooms and a basement. The garden is also quite extensive and covers 1500 sq. m. Running water, electricity and septic tank are provided.
The city of Razgrad is distanced in about 15 km away. Important roads, connecting Central Europe with the Black Sea region and Asia, cross it. There are about 1,200 stationary cultural monuments in the region, which, along with the thousands of items and documents, illustrate the rich material and spiritual culture of the tribes and peoples, which have lived in the Ludogorie throughout the millennia. The archaeological reserve of Sboryanovo is in this area, having been a cult and religious center of several religions from antiquity to present time. The unique Tomb of Shvestari, with a frieze of caryatids, which belonged to a Thracian ruler is among the preserved over 100 Thracian mounds. It was discovered during archaeological excavations in 1982 and has been put on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. The ancient town of Abritus is near Razgrad. Vestiges of ancient and medieval settlements and fortresses have been found in other places of the region as well. The hunting site of Voden offers wonderful conditions for hunting tourism. The populations of red and fallow deer, wild boar, aurochs and moufflon are regarded high as trophies.
