Cape Verde could once again be a popular destination for British investors, Property Abroad has suggested.
According to the real estate portal, an increasing number of low-budget, holiday home buyers have begun to return to the archipelago - which lies off the west coast of Africa.
The destination is gaining in popularity once again because of an increase in interest from buyers looking to find bargain properties in markets that had previously been out of reach.
"Cape Verde property is set to benefit from a resurgence of low-budget buyers, as people re-explore their choices in reflection of the new market reality," the news provider explained.
"Anyone who has the cash ready to buy immediately can get a swift bargain with a clever offer."
Paul Akwei, managing director of property agent Noscasa, recently claimed that the Cape Verde property market is set to benefit from a return of investor confidence.
He said that the market has been bolstered by local buyers, savvy investors looking for a bargain, retirees and wealthy individuals prepared to part with their cash for the perfect property.
