Sal Property

The island of Sal is situated close to the West African coast of Senegal and is the most developed of all the Cape Verde islands, with the largest number of tourist arrivals. The Cape Verde Government is investing vast sums of money into Sal to promote tourism to the isalnd and to compete with other groups of islands like the Canaries. Visitors are attracted by its scuba diving opportunities and a vast array of colourful sea life, along with long, white,.sandy beaches. Sal also boasts a lively lifestyle with an abundance of bars and restaurants, shops and markets.

The International Airport of Cape Verde is based in Sal and daily international flights arriving from the UK and other European destinations. From Sal it is possible to connect to flights to the other islands and ferries also link to the other islands by ferry. Later this year a new International Airport is due to open in Praia on the island of Santiago.
