Tibet has slashed prices to try to lure back tourists. Hotels in Tibetan capital Lhasa have cut prices by up to 70% and air fares have also been reduced. Tibet played host to just 2.2 million tourists in 2008, down from the four million who visited in 2007. Xinhua quoted deputy Tibetan tourist bureau head Wang Songping...
