The Cypriot property market offers strong potential for UK investors according to experts at Buy Abroad, with lucrative investment opportunities available in certain areas.
Experts highlight southern Cyprus as having good potential overall with year-on-year growth over the past two or three years, attracting UK investors on this basis.
Unlike northern Cyprus which is still the subject of an ongoing land dispute, the south is relatively risk-free and thus appealing to investors interested in buying in Cyprus.
Paul Tomlin, sales director for Buy Abroad, highlights the appeal of Cyprus at present.
"It's been a progressive growth each and every year for the last two or three years," he explains.
"There are a lot of investors finding Cyprus."
Cyprus' upcoming accession to the European Union in January 2008 is expected to boost property investment overall and lead to increased inward investment among buyers looking for long-term opportunities in strong emerging markets, according to HiFX.
