Cyprus has been named as one of this year's most exciting summer hotspots for property investors.
According to Rightmove, Cyprus offers an "extraordinary quality of life" because of its Mediterranean climate and relatively inexpensive cost of living.
As such, an increasing number of overseas property investors are considering Cyprus, with buy-to-lets providing "particularly strong" rental returns.
Furthermore, Cyprus' adoption of the euro next year will make the country a more attractive investment option, making it easier for buyers to buy and sell within the eurozone.
"A buy-to-let investment in Cyprus is still a great venture," said spokesman Justin Figgins.
"With tourism booming and the reputation Cyprus has for attracting repeat and loyal visitors, rental demand continues to outstrip supply."
According to news website 7days, capital value growth in Cyprus is expected soar this year, making it an attractive prospect for buyers and tourists alike.
