Celebrity couple invest in Cyprus

Celebrities Peter Andre and Katie Price have just purchased a property in Cyprus, it has been revealed.

According to OK! magazine, the famous couple recently bought an off-plan property near Larnaca.

The publication said the property is now finished and is ready to be used by the reality TV stars.

Cyprus is regularly visited by Peter Andre as he is of Cypriot descent, while wife Katie has also found much to enjoy on the island.

She commented: "I love Cyprus. I can chill and I love the weather."

OK! added that the Mediterranean island has also proved to be popular with many other famous faces, including Boyzone singer Stephen Gately and actress Kim Cattrall.

This comes after Jet-to-Let magazine flagged up Cyprus as a particularly popular market with foreign property buyers, partly because it has not been "overly exposed" to the turmoil in the global economy.
