Developers in Cyprus are increasingly concentrating on new areas away from the traditional holiday hotspots, it has been stated.
Bigger developers are moving out of places like Paphos, Protaras and Limassol into other districts and other facilities are also appearing in these new locations, Hotel Seoul Korea reports.
The portal said that the prices of apartments in these outlying areas can be 40-50 per cent cheaper than those in established resorts.
Such developments may interest those keen on investing in new hotspots that might emerge on the island.
More cheap airline flights to Cyprus were available from last week, following an announcement by low-cost carrier Monarch Airlines, something that could boost
buy-to-let property investment
.
The company revealed that it is adding two flights a week to Larnaca from Birmingham to its existing 19 from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports.
Managing director Liz Savage commented that last year saw 175,000 people fly from the UK to Cyprus with the airline.
