Leaders of the Greek and Turkish Cypriots have resumed their discussions regarding property rights on the Mediterranean island.
The talks, which are being sponsored by the United Nations, are part of an effort to help unify the country, something that may make it more attractive to British investors who have been considering purchasing Greek property.
Dimitris Christofias, leader of the Greek Cypriots and Mehmet Ali Talat, his Turkish Cypriot counterpart, held a two-hour discussion on the matter in Nicosia.
Taye-Brook Zerihoun, the United Nations secretary-general's special representative for Cyprus, told reporters that the discussions are set to resume on March 5th.
The first round of discussions were held earlier this month and were hailed as positive by Mr Zerihoun, who described the initial meeting as "substantive".
Once the issue of property rights has been resolved, the two leaders will go on to discuss matters relating to Cyrpus' relationship with the European Union.
