The hotel is situated in a recreation area on the bank of Lipno Lake in Šumava forest with a direct water access on it´s own property. Cycle path leads past the hotel. In winter time there is a bus stop in front of the building for buses going to Hochficht ski resort (Austria). Another option is to visit Lipno ski resort (Czech Rep.)

The location of the hotel is a great starting point for hiking in Šumava National Park. The lake is very popular for yachting, windsurfing, kitesurfing and fishing in summer and for ice skating and snowkiting in winter. The hotel building is located 720 meters above sea level with alpine character of weather.

The hotel has a total capacity of 16 rooms with 42 beds in separate fully equipped rooms with bathrooms of which one room is wheelchaire accessible and one is a big apartment in 2nd floor. Restaurant, kitchen with kitchen elevator and a bar is also part of the hotel building. During the sunny days people can dine or relax on a summer terrace. When on business meetings the guests can use a big presentation room.

The building has a sophisticated heating control, distribution of electronic security system, electrical fire alarm system and satellite TV. Water is extracted from it´s own well and connected to a municipal sewer.

There is a parking lot for cars and suplly in front of the building and a separate access for disabled. Part of the property is a maintained grassy plot with refresment for cyclo turists and a shipyard on the lake bank.
