Foreign property buyers have been encouraged to consider potential investment opportunities in Dubai.
According to the BuyAssociation website, it is unfair to say the global house price boom is completely over, as only some countries have been affected by the slowdown.
For example, it stated that places such as Spain and Malta have been suffering "quite a bit" in the current economic climate.
However, other nations such as the United Arab Emirates are still experiencing considerable growth during the year to date.
Paul Collins, property editor at BuyAssociation, said prices in Dubai have been going up "quite steeply" since January.
He commented: "I wouldn't necessarily agree that the boom is over - it's just that people need to do more research to find the right markets."
This comes soon after Gulf Weekly revealed that Dubai is becoming increasingly popular with people who want to spend their retirement overseas.
