Egypt has been tipped as one of the top destinations for property in the next few years, it has been reported.
Speaking to the Essex Gazette, Penny Ayers, from Keith Ashton International, explained that the country was benefitting from its growing economy and increasingly affluent middle class.
She said: "The demand for property is increasing again and it will almost certainly be one of the top overseas property investment hot spots for the next few years.
"The investment climate is widely regarded as a promising one … property by the Red Sea in Egypt continues to prove popular with investors."
It could lead to an increase in the number of investors searching to find property in Muhafazat al Bahr al Ahmar, with the destination offering real estate by the Red Sea.
According to a report earlier this year by Gulf News, many investors are beginning to realise the potential of the Egyptian property market, with strong GDP growth making it a tempting proposition.
