The Location
Font Romeu lies at the heart of the Pyrenees Catalanes regional nature reserve on the Cerdagne Plateau between France and Spain. It offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountain ranges with the highest peaks standing at over 2,900 metres.
Font Romeu is an ideal beginners and intermediate skiing resort with 52km of downhill piste serviced by 21 lifts and a further 54Km of cross country tracks. It offers great value for money skiing with adult day passes from €21. The resort is also known as a health resort benefiting from its pure air and natural hot springs and serves as a popular high altitude training camp for international athletes in their preparation for big competitions.
The resort is located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region that is currently experiencing a high level of capital growth. Font Romeu allows visitors to experience the snow in winter but is also only a short drive from the beach in summer.
