Property in France is set to become even more accessible following Flybe's decision to offer more flights to cities in the country next year.
The regional airline will increase the frequency of its flights from UK airports such as Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter and Newcastle in 2009, with many of the routes heading to France.
"Key routes" from Flybe's summer 2009 schedule include services between Exeter and Avignon, Brest, Nice and Rennes, as well the connection between Birmingham and Brest, Bergerac, La Rochelle and Toulouse.
Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer at Flybe, commented: "Our summer schedule shows us continuing to strengthen our operations across the UK and Europe.
"Over the last twelve months we have continued to grow and develop Flybe to provide the most cost-effective, efficient and flexible service for business and leisure passengers."
Businessman and Dragons' Den star James Caan recently told the Telegraph that he chose to invest in property in southern France because it is now "so quick to fly there for weekends".
