The Norfolk-based facility said that a record number of passengers were set to pass through its terminals between now and the beginning of 2008.
According to the airport, about 23,000 people are set to fly abroad to places such as France and Spain in order to spend Christmas in a warmer climate.
Commenting on the increased popularity of air travel, the portal's head of marketing Louise Wilkinson said that more and more people were starting to realise how easy it was.
Speaking to the Norwich Evening News, she commented: "Our findings show our flights are fuller than last year and there's a growing awareness that it's quick and easy."
