Eastern Airways said that holiday home owners in the Loire Valley would welcome the introduction of new flights to the region from Southampton Airport.
The carrier will offer passage between the two portals three times a week from November 15th.
Commenting on the move, Eastern Airways added that the service would also prove to be popular with Britons who had relocated to the Loire Valley permanently.
The airline said: "The new service will appeal to holidaymakers with property in the stunning French region, along with expatriates travelling to and from the south of England."
Jan Halliday, spokesperson for Southampton Airport, added that the flights would be important for both businesses and leisure travellers.
This comes after low-cost airline easyJet announced that it would significantly expand its services to France.
The carrier stated that it would open new bases at both Paris Charles de Gaulle and Lyon airports as part of a strategy to double its French presence in the next four years.
