Britons who want to take advantage of lower living costs have been encouraged to relocate to France.
According to Shelter Offshore, the European country is relatively cheap when compared with the UK, despite the strong euro.
Therefore, it has encouraged people who are feeling the pinch of rising costs at home, as well as the declining housing market, to consider packing their bags and moving there full-time.
The website stated that a property in France costs far less than a home in Britain, while day-to-day expenses such as food and drink are also much cheaper.
In addition, it said the country offers comparable living standards, which means that expats would not need to sacrifice any luxuries.
Shelter Offshore commented: "If you want to live the same life for less, France could just be the perfect place for you to do so."
Earlier this week, the Telegraph stated that people living in the country can enjoy living costs which are about two-thirds cheaper than those in the UK.
