Greg Dawson, from Guildford in Surrey, told the Telegraph that the property-buying process was stress-free and only took about 12 weeks.
Speaking to the newspaper, he also revealed that following his purchase two years ago, his home has appreciated in value.
Mr Dawson has installed a number of extra features including a patio and an en suite bathroom for the master bedroom.
As a result, his home has gone up in value from £90,000 in January 2006 to more than £120,000 today.
However, he encouraged prospective buyers to have a property survey carried out ahead of any purchase, even though this is rarely done when buying property in France.
Eurostar has been widely credited with helping to attract more investors to France in recent months, as a new rail link to Paris was launched last November.
The service offers quicker journey times than the previous route from Waterloo and has proved to be highly popular as a result.
