France's ski resorts are still proving popular with winter sports fans from the UK, despite the recent fall of the pound against the euro.
This is according to Carrie Hainge, brand and product manager from the Ski Club of Great Britain, who said that the "traditionally popular" ski destinations of Europe are continuing to attract a high level of visitors.
She said that the accessibility of ski resorts in France and other European countries will continue to attract British holidaymakers, which means that property owners in the country will continue to benefit from a reliable rental market.
"Europe will still prove popular because it is an area easy to access from the UK. For people who have young children, it's not the long flight if you would travel to Canada or America," Ms Hainge explained.
"All the big name resorts are popular. For example, you've got Val d'Isere and Tignes in France … [and] in the three valleys, there is Meribel and Courchevel."
The Telegraph recently named Tignes as the best resort in the world for snowboarding holidays.
