French property exhibition to highlight 'buyer's market'
Article Date : 12 May 2009
News Section: France
The advantages of buying a property in France now will be the focus of the French Property Exhibition in Harrogate next weekend.
Organisers of the show, which will be held over the weekend of May 15th -17th at the Yorkshire Event Centre, have stated that now is a good time to buy as there presently exists a buyers' market with prospects that are "better now than they have been for years".
It added that this is because vendors are having to be "realistic" with their pricing in order to manage a sale.
The event will also see a free competition being held with a prize of a return ferry trip for four people and a car, which could help somebody to get across the channel to check out some possible purchases.
One place recently described as being "very popular" with British buyers is Antibes on the French Riviera.
Spokesperson for the Antibes Juan-les-Pins tourist board Lucy Howard noted that the area has a wide variety of property as well as easy access to Nice Airport.
