A new magazine is being launched with the aim of helping Britons who own property in France to integrate more into the life of the country.
Former head of women's magazines at Emap Nicki Wade is founding the publication, called the French Post, with former Independent on Sunday news editor Michael Streeter lined up to be the editor.
Ms Wade told the Press Gazette: "We have ambitious aims for the French Post to become a feature of French life itself."
This will see French contributors writing for the magazine and the nation's current affairs being covered.
Such a publication could help those buying French property to settle into the country.
Brittany is one area of France that has seen an influx of Britons, with director of the Brittany tourist board Michael Dodds recently noting that the presence of more expats in inland areas is a "driving force" for tourism in such parts of the region.
