Paris and the French Riviera are likely to remain among the strongest areas in the country's property market, it has been stated.
Property Expert Magazine suggested that homes in these areas will retain their value due to their "international appeal", guaranteeing a "steady market".
It quoted Riviera-based property search agent Tim Swannie, who said there was "not a huge difference" in interest between now and a year ago, adding: "There is definitely still demand out there for properties."
Other areas that may prosper are the winter ski resorts of the Alps and Pyrenees, due to the continued strong presence of British wintersports fans.
Director of the French government tourist office Jean-Pierre Courteau recently said that Britons made up the "main group" among the 400,000 skiers visiting these two areas each year.
