France has been flagged up as a good destination for those who wish to relocate to another country.

According to the Telegraph, the number of people who are choosing to emigrate from the UK is on the up, as more and more are seeking better a better way of life abroad.

Therefore, it has suggested that prospective expats consider setting up home in France, as it offers a number of lifestyle attractions.

For example, people living in the county can enjoy living costs with are about two-thirds cheaper than those in the UK.

Furthermore, it said that property values in France are also relatively low in comparison.

The Telegraph commented: "If you wanted to retire there, you can still buy a home which would cost you, on average, half the price of an equivalent in the UK."

According to figures from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, house prices in France went up by 3% last year.
