The location:
The residence is located at the heart of the village of Samoens resort/village in Haute Savoie. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif region of France, which lies between Geneva and Mont Blanc and includes the towns of Samoens, Morillon, Sixt fer Cheval, Les Carroz and Flaine. It is one of the largest Ski areas in France, with a Ski piste area of 265km, a reliable snow record and a lack of lift queues. The village is about 700m high with two lifts from the village to the ski areas.
Samoens is also a typical mountain village where you can enjoy a French lifestyle with quality accommodation, goods and services. Samoens is set amid forest and is listed in France as a "Historic Monument", as it still retains an ancient church, medieval fountains and rustic old buildings.
