THE LOCATION: Chabanon-Selonet is one of three authentic alpine villages which make up the “La Vallee de la Blanche” ski zone which is situated in a large protected national park.

The other 2 villages within the ski zone are Saint Jean Montclar (45km of pistes) and Le Grand Puy (20km of pistes) which in total give you 105km of slopes. Chabanon also has a snowpark for skiers and snow boarders who wish to perfect their half-pipe and jumping techniques, an ESF ski school for both adults and children along with a day-nursery to give the parents a well-earned break!
Both winter and summer activities are available with the winter ones as follows: skiing, cross-country skiing, skijoring, snowshoes, ice-skating, orienteering, paragliding, night skiing (3km of floodlit slopes) and visits to the animal park.
There is also a Spa centre with a Jacuzzi & massages– perfect for your après-ski relaxation. Summer activities include: Mountain biking, water sports in the Serre-Poncon lake 20km away (fishing & canoeing), walking trails, mini-golf, paragliding, theme park with tree-climbing, swimming (in the pool) and tennis. ACCESS: Marseille airport is a 2hr drive away, Grenoble airport 2hrs 20 mins drive. There is also a train station at Gap (20 mins drive from Chabanon), which has connections to the TGV train stations at Valence, Grenoble and Aix-en-Provence.
