Propertyshowrooms.com Appoints Former Bbc News Reporter

Former BBC News reporter Cary Johnston joins the team at leading international property website Propertyshowrooms.com as the company expands its Media Department.

Cary Johnston - The new Media Relations Officer at Propertyshowrooms.comMay 9, 2008 In a move which confirms its standing as an international authority in the property and real estate industry, Propertyshowrooms.com have appointed former BBC News reporter Cary Johnston as its new Media Relations Officer.

Cary brings more than twenty years of journalistic experience from his work in the media in the United Kingdom, as he takes up the mantle at top ranking international investment company Propertyshowrooms.com

“I’m delighted to have joined such a young and dynamic team at the forefront of international property investment,” says Cary, whose former reporting credits include the Six O’clock News, BBC radio 5-Live, and the BBC World Service.

He continued: “It’s hugely refreshing to find a real estate company that walks the talk, and that provides investors with the strictest legal safeguards in the business. I should know, I’ve reported on some dodgy companies in the past! But Propertyshowrooms.com is a whole new way of searching for property investment, where the buyer receives a completely free service, via the International Property Investment Network (IPIN).”

IPIN is where investors are provided with comprehensive information on selected properties in countries of their choice. More than twenty thousand individual investors have already signed up for what is a free service.
As a result, Propertyshowrooms.com can also offer media professionals an invaluable resource for researching statistics and information.

“We are here to help,” adds Cary. “If you are a media professional and need information about buying habits and new property developments in countries across the globe, then we can provide tailor-made statistics and quotes for your article, though of course no personal details of clients are ever revealed.”

And he’s sympathetic to the needs of journalists in a fast-moving multi-media environment: “Pressures on journalists these days are immense, as the 24 hour news culture makes deadlines tighter than ever. So it’s always useful to know that a fast, accurate, and reliable resource is on hand to provide information about property and buying habits in places such as Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Dubai, Brazil, Turkey, the UK, and the USA.”

Those pressures mean that Propertyshowrooms.com now receives more enquiries than ever from journalists needing rapid and accurate information at their fingertips, whether it’s for newspapers, magazines, television or radio. Our new expanded Media Department means that we can handle more of these enquiries than ever before.

And of course, the core business of Propertyshowrooms.com is to provide a wealth of information for individuals and investors looking to purchase quality property abroad. There is no safer or more informed way of investing in foreign real estate.

Media professionals can contact Cary directly on (+34) 952 471 774 ext. 221 or send an email to cary.johnston@propertyshowrooms.com
