Moroccan property market "similar to Costa del Sol"

Investors could consider the property market in Morocco, which offers similar prices and climate to the Costa del Sol, an expert has said.
According to Simple Overseas Property Group managing director Karl Morris, the country's property market is starting to gather momentum and foreign investment is welcome.
Property purchases accounted for more than 15 per cent of foreign investment in the country last year, according to research by Properazzi.com.
With capital appreciation levels from 15 to 30 per cent, "Morocco allows investors to consider the buy-to-let strategy as well as a pure investment one", Mr Morris said.
Morocco could also cater for investors "looking for a reasonably priced property with similar climate and proximity to the Costa del Sol", he added.
This month Elysian Holidays owner Maxine Harrison commented that Spanish beaches will "remain more attractive than the UK for some time" among Britons because in addition to price competitiveness, the country offers a more favourable climate.
