Low cost airline Ryanair has confirmed that it is to begin offering a new service between the UK and Morocco.
The budget carrier will start providing direct passage from London Stansted to Agadir towards the end of next month.
This represents a further improvement to the accessibility of Morocco to British consumers - a development which could boost tourism in the north African country.
As a result, the new flights could also help enhance the appeal of the nation among foreign property buyers, in particular rental investors.
Bridget Dowling, spokesperson for Ryanair, commented: "Agadir is an increasingly popular holiday destination and now consumers can take advantage of the guaranteed lowest fares to the beautiful Moroccan coast."
Morocco attracted a record number of people last year, as about 7.4 million tourists chose to visit places such as Marrakesh and Tangier.
The government is currently aiming to boost annual visitor numbers to 10 million by 2010.
