Individuals with property in Morocco may be pleased to hear that the African destination offers travellers the most exotic experience for the shortest flight.
According to travel expert Sarah Baxter, holidaymakers will be able to immerse themselves in the culture-rich country after just a three-hour flight.
Ms Baxter, deputy editor at Wanderlust magazine, explained that travellers are becoming more adventurous and as such destinations like Morocco should become more popular this year.
"Morocco offers the most exotic experience for the shortest flight. In just three hours you can be nose-deep in culture shock," she added.
"Travellers are getting more adventurous, looking for more experiential travel, rather than just beach flops."
According to tour operator Gap Adventures, there has been a 200 per cent increase in bookings to Egypt and Morocco so far in 2010, compared to last year.
In order to meet the rise in demand, the company has introduced a number of new tours to the destinations.
