Morocco could become a property hotspot as a result of its growth in popularity as a tourist destination, it has been stated.
Chintan Mahida, a spokesperson for property firm Nubricks.com, noted that recent research by holiday companies Thompson and First Choice has shown that more people are beginning to prefer non-traditional destinations, a factor she said was partly influenced by the low value of the pound against the euro.
She stated: "Low cost airlines such as easyJet are cottoning on to the changing trends" adding that they are creating more routes to make "places like Morocco and Turkey more easily accessible."
Ms Mahida added that a consequence of increased tourist popularity will be a rise in demand for property.
Agadir is one Moroccan destination that has been tipped to grow in the years ahead.
The Daily Mail noted this week that Ryanair will shortly be commencing a service from Stansted to the resort.
