Those looking to invest in property in Portugal for rental purposes may be able to find some good prospects in the city of Porto, it has been suggested.
Writing for Nubricks.com, John Moore of the Move Channel said the city is a prominent location both as centre of business and industry and also as a tourist destination, with the main attraction being Port wine.
He said: "In addition to its tourism trade, Porto attracts many foreigners for business and educational reasons, making it a good location for rentals on a long term basis."
Mr Moore also said that prices have recently been falling in Porto, which may offer more bargains for British buyers.
A study by real estate newsletter Confidencial Imobiliario has also found this to be the case in the Algarve, although the prices there remain the highest in the country, reports The Portugal Resident.
