The Lodge is situated in the heart of the Crocodile Ramble and adjacent to the Cradle of Humankind, which is a popular tourist area.
The Lodge can accommodate up to 5 families and also use the guest lodge with 13 bedrooms for an extra income. The lodge is registered as a guest house with a conference-, restaurant- and liquor license, which ensures an extra income.
The Lodge has 3 Stars on the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, is Highly Recommended by the AA Quality Assurance Programme and a member of Fedhasa.
This Guest Lodge is the perfect place to get way from the hustle and bustle of city life and a magnificent location for bird watchers and nature lovers to unwind. Relax next to the pool, have a braai in the Boma, read a book or go for a walk to enjoy nature and its abundant birdlife.
It is known as an exclusive hide-away with country style cottages, rustic garden rooms and large rooms in the main house. An ideal place to relax with sundowners in the Lapa next to the sparkling pool after a long day and afterwards enjoy an unforgettable evening next to an open fire in the large open air African Boma.
UNIQUE CONFERENCE ROOM
The unique conference room, which is situated in the garden, is popular amongst companies for workshops, training, mini conferences, informal meetings, corporate incentives, retreats and director breakaways. We offer total privacy in a country style set-up for small groups, away from the office. The conference room can accommodate groups of up to 26 overnight delegates or up to 50 day delegates.
LOCATION
The Guest Lodge is situated on the West Rand, only 30 minutes drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria, and 10 minutes from Lanseria International Airport, in the heart of the Crocodile Ramble and adjacent to the Cradle of Humankind, a world heritage site. It is 4 km from the N14, the highway between Pretoria and Krugersdorp, in the Muldersdrift area. This is the perfect destination for business people flying in to Lanseria from Cape Town or Durban and over weekends for guests seeking a unique location for peace and serenity, but still close to the city.
ACCOMMODATION
All the rooms are decorated in a typical rustic country style with crisp white linen. The cottages and garden rooms are fully equipped for self-catering and have private access into the garden. Guests stay in a quiet and laid back atmosphere with no interruptions.

Adjacent to the Cradle of Humankind in Kromdraai, a World heritage site - this area is one of the Governments' main focus areas for current Tourism development - i.e. The Maropeng Centre at the Sterkfontein Caves, numerous Game Farms, Hartbeespoort dam, etc.
Situated in the heart of the Crocodile Ramble - a Tourism area.
The area is called the "Mecca of Wedding Venues in Gauteng" with more than 30 wedding venues in a radius of 10 km from the guest house.
