this home is just over 10 minutes to álora, the finca is triangular in shape and sits in about 2¼ acres of land, consisting of the house and driveway, and nearly 500 trees, most of which produce ?naval? oranges. currently, a local spanish person maintains the trees, in return for the crop, and the new owner can retain this system, if required. other trees in the finca include lemons, plums, apricots, nectarines, apples, pears, kakis, nisperos, avocado, grapefruit and grapes, and these are primarily intended for domestic use, rather than for sale.

when the gardens were planned, the emphasis was on easy maintenance; so all the garden areas are fitted with a watering system. the terraces, gardens and swimming pool are attractively walled off from the finca and are completely secluded (for privacy or an all-over sun tan!).
the spanish correctly refer to this finca as ?paradise? and ?very tranquil?.

for a buyer looking for an income by offering accommodation in quiet surroundings, the layout of the house is ideal. there are options for creating additional rooms of up to 3 single bedrooms, a bathroom and an en-suite double bedroom to the rear of the house, using existing buildings.
alternatively the outbuildings can easily be converted without excessive cost into a 1 double bedroom en-suite apartment for holiday or permanent lettings
location
the historic town of alora enjoys a privileged location in the guadalhorce valley, which it overlooks from the north, standing atop a small hill. situated 35 minutes from malaga airport by car, it can also reach malaga centre in 15 minutes by train. its urban layout, of arabic origin, gives it a special charm, which must be enjoyed without haste, due to the steep nature of its streets, which lead up to the symbol of the village: the castle. the amenities of the town are excellent and include, health centers, schools, sports facilities, good shopping and a large selection of bars and restaurants. the town has a rich historical heritage which is shown in its many festivals.
