Costa Tropical sunset The Costa Tropical in southern Spain is a stunning strip of coastline between the Costa del Sol and the Costa de Almeria, offering all the ingredients for a perfect holiday and for this reason it is a popular investment location for buy-to-let properties. Its location on the Mediterranean and its proximity to Africa and to the Sierra Nevada mountain range protect the Costa Tropical from the colder north winds and generates a sub-tropical climate, hence its name.

The Costa Tropical is notably quieter than its neighbour the Costa del Sol but is particularly popular amongst Spanish holidaymakers and property purchasers. Miles of empty beaches are typical of the area and there is a distinct scarcity of the high rise hotels to be found on other coasts of southern Spain. The Costa Tropical manages to maintain some of the traditional Andalucian lifestyle and has also been certified as having the healthiest climate in Europe by the World Health Organisation.

Property for sale in the Costa Tropical lends itself to lovers of a quiet life, while during the summer months, numbers do swell and nightlife is busy in many of the more popular resorts.
