Some regions of Spain have much to offer Brits who seek a quieter time on holiday, one expert has claimed.
Despite publicity surrounding Spain's over development in particular areas, locations including the Costa de la Luz and Costa Brava are attracting tourists who value the relative privacy they offer, Maxine Harrison of Elysian Holidays said.
Holidaymakers can access properties in these more remote areas very easily thanks to the number of small airports in the country, she explained.
"You've got other areas like the Costa de la Luz up and coming, where there are huge swathes, miles and miles of deserted beaches.
"It's Atlantic and it's windy, but people will put up with that for the privacy," she added.
Improving infrastructure in Spain has been pinpointed as the key to investment success by property expert Mark Stucklin of Spanish property Insight.
He advised that anyone looking to put money into property in the country should analyse how an area is served by airports and rail links and this would give them a good idea about its potential.
