Those seeking a more authentic taste of Spain, be they property buyers or holidaymakers, can do so inland away from the traditional beach resorts, it has been stated.
PR manager at tourist property firm Holiday-Rentals Sarah Chambers commented that many people regard Spain as consisting of nothing but the busy Costas.
However, she said, the reality is different, noting that Andalucia has been one part of the country where many people have bought properties away from the coast.
"It's not all about overcrowded beaches and the Costas - you can find some really authentic places where you can see the real Spain," she added.
Property connected to golf course developments in the country has been tipped to go on doing well where the quality is of a high standard.
Managing director of Carrington Estates Paul Rossiter told the Daily Mail earlier this month that investors can "easily tell the difference" between a good course and one that is poor.
